Just wondering if anyone else use chaps for small game hunting. I'm hunting a area that is full of Multiflora Rose. That Mul. Rose can tear you up. I'm hunting rabbits and Pheasants. Those are Filson chaps and pretty much briar proff.

No but that's a good idea. My property is chuck full of wild rose and wild raspberry bushes.

I had a pair when I was younger for rabbit hunting. They were ok but I saved up and bought a pair of regular brush pants. I always seemed to catch a thorn in the areas the chaps didn't cover (the worst spots to catch a thorn!).

Yes, and they are easy slipped on and off, great for briers.

I have 2 pair of Carhart canvas pants. Been thinking about doing a homemade tin pant, but they’re heavy enough that they pretty much work as is.

I typically wear brush pants in those types of areas.
The chaps I have are bat wing working chaps and aren't made for walking around.

I wear some when cutting wood. Never have for hunting but looks to be a great tactic.
