Just wondering how many of us do this. I shoot a gillo GQ with uukah limbs. Just shot my personal best 272 on a blue face target.

Nice shooting Matt. I generally shoot all the games i can find, but with this virus I've avoided all the indoor stuff for the past year. Still hit every 3d shoot outdoors i can though.

I did back in the 60's and 70's. 272 is a good score barebow.

I do. 272 is a good score, nice shooting. I'm having my best year thus far in our league. 271 average on the multicolor world face, 283 average on the NFAA spot. I like indoor.

I wouldn't even consider shooting in a league squeezed shoulder to shoulder with a bunch of folks right now. Used to do it every winter.

We shoot the indoor round outdoors(this is in South Florida) with plenty of space between shooters, 1 shooter per butt per line. Safer than the grocery store.

I did at one time years ago. Lately it has just been 3d shoots. None since covid hit.

We don't have any indoor ranges within 30 miles of us and in winter that's problematic. It will be April before any 3D or other shoots are anywhere near to where we live. Warm days bring stump shooting though. :)

What longshot said. George I like to stump shoot too. Thanks for the complements.

Mountain Bowmen Archery Club in Berlin is only about 30 minutes from you. That's not real far.

Hopefully if our rec council gets the building up and running. Unfortunately with the Covid things have been on hold.

I have shot league for a good while ,and I am lucky to have 3 different ranges I can shoot in the winter with in 15 miles, but not this year with this God forsaken disease spreading like wild fire. That is consistent shooting with those scores.

I shoot a lot of 3d events and enter the barbow class when it is offered.

I’m not sure whether we even HAVE any tournaments or even single day events in this area… Seems like they’re out to be some.

But the Open Shoots at our club are no longer a scored event; it seems it just enough people are in capable of engaging a little good natured, honest competition, and apparently the disputes over scorecards got to the point where the club just threw in the towel. I find that kind of frustrating, because I really would like to put myself into a higher pressure situation like that and just see what I can honestly do.

I can (and often do) keep score on the home course, but I think I would be kidding myself if I thought there was no home-field advantage.

My hat is off to all of you guys who are willing to take it to the line.

Hi, Matt I just bought a Gillo Gt and I would love to shoot competitive barebow. There are a few small clubs that have leagues near me but I don't know if there are any specific to barebow. Good shooting by the way! gunr

Yep.! That's an impressive score....

Hi gunr. I love my gillo. I say go to the ranges and find out. If there isn't you could make it happen. You may even convert some people.

Matt, that's impressive and I'm betting most here don't know how impressive. I envy you being able to shoot that many arrows. Used to shoot a league blue face.

I shoot at Maple Cify Archers in Meyersdale, Pa and Mountain Bowman at Berlin is half hour drive away, BUT the worst roads for winter driving in SW Pa.
