Don't think so but can only hope. I'll even go for a VHS version if I could find one. Used to rent it from the local archery shop but that was decades ago! Still my favorite bowhunting video.

I remember watching that on a VHS one of my buddy’s had years ago. If memory serves me well he was shooting a Black widow And a muzzy head but I could be wrong . Not sure if that was the video he stalked a deer and took his shoes off and another scene a buck was near a swarm of bees . Loved watching that one. Keefers

Hey guys, Eye to Eye was not converted over to DVD. When I left the industry I lost track of video masters. Sorry I can’t help you on DVDs and I gave away what I had left but for one copy. Yes I did shoot a Black Widow, but I was shooting Howard Hill broadheads. They were my elk arrows. Hard to beat the penetration. Sorry I couldn’t help out but thanks for remembering. 30 plus years sure has gone by fast. God bless, Alan

See I know now I have Altizers Thinking it was a Muzzy broadhead and not a Hill Lol.

From: Justin

But if you still have the one copy....

Could you duplicate it and have someone post it to a YouTube channel under your control?

I have to admit that this is one video that sounds like it would be worth watching, and if enough people were to agree, then you might even be able to turn a profit on the deal....

It would CERTAINLY be quite a refreshing change of pace from what’s getting all the attention these days…

Isn't that the one where you sneaked up on a bedded buck near a bulldozer (or some other heavy equipment) thru the mud in your socks? That was a great one for sure!

Please Mr Altizer. The music alone to that video is enough for me to cover your conversion fees. Please

From: Osprey

Alan, that video of yours was my favorite bowhunting video. As someone suggested earlier if you still have a copy, someone should be able to help you to upload it to Youtube or Vimeo. A lot more bowhunters including a newer generation would be able to enjoy it.

From: Uncle Lijiah

I know I have "Whitetails Eye To Eye" VHS & I'm pretty sure I still have "Whitetail Bucks And Bottlenecks", "Arrows & Antlers" & "Bad Weather Bucks". I have several other classic bowhunting & traditional shooting videos that haven't been converted to DVD yet. I've been meaning to get another VHS tape player while they still sell them.

From: SextonJ

Oh please get these on DVD!!! I hear that fiddle music in my mind when I’m hunting all the time. Can you at least tell me the music?

From: Mike E

Where can you buy the other videos converted to dvd?

Thanks so much to all. There are a couple of issues. I have no idea where the masters are or who has them. When I left Wolf Creek I had no contact with anyone for over five years. When we started filming under Black Timber my focus was on the future. After 911 I left the industry as a security contractor and only made contact with the industry when I started writing for PBS, Traditional Bowhunters, and Bowhunters Magazine a couple years ago. Was I am now working with The Stickboys on the podcast doing a woodsmanship segment and setting up interviews with some old friends. To be honest my focus is completely on spending every moment I can with my family, especially my little boy. I’m now in my sixties and Gabe is 11 and a tremendous hunter and traditional archer. I have purposely not let him watch any of my old films until last year when I did let him see two segments. I don’t want him viewing anything but his dad now. With that being said I will make an effort to locate the old stuff and what needs to be take place to move forward. It may take some time but I will try. I do have some projects in the future to help beginners and pass on some things I’ve learned. I hope to leave bowhunting a little better than while I was here for the next generations. I dearly love the magic of the bow and arrow. Most of all the brotherhood of bowhunters. So thanks to all. Let’s all work together to pass what we have been blessed with to the up and comers. Thanks again and God bless, Alan
