Good morning fellas. Had to work last couple days so missed y'all.
Switching out of elk mode and into spring small game and turkey mode. My spring bow of choice presently is this short 50"52# recurve from Harvey Archery called the Ferret. I shot today kneeling at a low target with three 300gr tipped chundoo arrows from 22 yards.
Thanks for the continued calls CD and I hope everyone has a great weekend.
My backdoor shot. First place I can get limb clearance is 35 or so yards. The shooting lane is a little tight, the concrete wall beyond the bear punishes high shot arrows.
Looking good all- tried 2 different longbows, both around the same weight, length, design, etc and took 3 shots from a little over 30 yds. First is a 66” 62# “Quiet One” made by Scott Rentschler in Iowa- Best Friend Bows and it was not bad for me at that range.
