Does anyone know of a method for attaching a Kwikee kwiver to a bow without screwing it on? Maybe an elastic/rubber bracket or some such. Could try double backed tape but not sure it would be strong enough.

That presumes the bow has a flat spot on the riser though.

I believe it was Dan In MI that was selling some kind of thing so a kwikee kwiver bracket could be mounted with out drilling holes. I'm pretty sure his used the double sided mounting tape. Maybe message him to find out more about it.

I used a piece of 3/4" x3/4" aluminum el. Cut a 4" piece off, then 1" off the ends of one side. Mounted the bracket to the short side then taped the long side to the bow. Clear as mud?

There is a bracket with double rubber straps that straps to your bow and works with any screw type quiver. I think the brand is muzzy. Very light weight and solid. It is targeted torwards the bow fishing crowd but will work on most any traditional bow. I've used mine on recurve and long bows. It extends the quiver out away from the riser as well. Should be able to Google it and find it somewhere. They used to cost $20.

I made one for my Bear Grizzly out of 1/4" round stock. The 1/4 x20 sockets for the Grizzly are 8" apart. Made 4 bends at right angles using a small torch. Beat the ends flat after heating them, drilled thru holes to fit. Then I got the guy at the muffler shop to tack weld a flat bracket plate on for the quiver mount.Works good, doesn't weigh much.

Avid Archer beat me to it. Heavy duty 2 sided tape. Works great!
The strap on adapter works fine. But on a shorter riser bow, the strap kinda gets into the sight window. I didn’t care for the sight picture with it there.

The double sided tape as mentioned above works well for my hot pink Kwikee. But a piece of the coated wire just in case gives me more peace of mind.

Here is a Bow Wart mounted and off the bow. It allows a quiver, sight, or both to be installed. And can be readily removed.

I appreciate all the comments, however, I was thinking of trying to do this on a either a Toelke Chinook, or an A&H one piece, neither of which has one square inch of flat surface. Couldn't find the rubber strap version anywhere.

There is bracket with rubber straps like a great northern quiver that the Kwikee bracket can screw on to. I use it for a bowfishing set up with reel. Like above, may be from Muzzy but I don't remember.

Just get a couple of the threaded inserts made for this and install them in the riser. I’ve installed inserts in several bows, some customs. To me a bow is a tool, I want it to serve my purpose.

What's so great about a Kwikee Kwiver? There are many better quivers out there that do not require mounting brackets. Anquishing over how to mount an inferior plastic quiver on a very nice bow makes no sense.

Red Beastmaster...I like to carry my arrows on my bow. I DO NOT like to shoot with a quiver on my bow. As far as I know, the Kwikee Kwikee is the only option. Sure there’s other bow quivers, but all of them I’m aware of are a PITA to remove once I get up a tree. I’ll be sticking with the Kwikee Kwiver myself.

I tapped my Widow recurve riser many years ago. And it has worked just fine. But if I wanted to mount the KK, today, I think I'd try the Bow Wart. Looks like a fantastic option.
And in my opinion, as a recurve shooting bowhunter, there is no better bow mounted quiver than the KK. And I've tried many different kinds through the years. Can't find any reason to ever change.
Good luck!

Anyone who thinks the KK is “ inferior” compared to modern quivers doesn’t know jack diddlydoo about bow quivers! I have tried them all ( Selway, GN, Thunderhorn, Eagle’s Flight) and Kwikee’s are STILL one of the best! Quiet, light, easy to remove and well built. There is a reason they have been around for decades!
