Yep it is Thanksgiving weekend.
A little on the anxious side I would think.
If you have the confirmation I'm pretty confident they will send you the tracking number via email and the bow likely had not shipped yet.

No need to worry about Big Jim's integrity. He is totally honest man. I know he was in Kansas hunting last week. My guess is others at his place off for the holiday. You will be okay!

I ordered a bow from Jim earlier in the year. I got the email showing they got the order then 4 or 5 days later got the bow but no other emails. So ur bow is likely on the way as long as its not one he has to build.

Ordered early in the week, no response yet. Again it's Thanksgiving week. I sure wouldn't be worried about it for another week anyway. Don't know what some of you guys would do without instant information nowadays. Great goodness, try ordering through a catalog and see how long it takes for a response. If we just would have had a direct line with George Herter. ))))))))))))

If you guys remember Big Jim typically goes to Kansas every year over Thanksgiving, and at least some of the staff goes with him.
He closes the shop all week and they reopen the Monday after Thanksgiving. Just be patient.

One of the most reliable and honest group of people you will ever deal with. You have nothing to worry about. Thanksgiving week is the only week I could think of there would be a delay of any kind, they kind of state it on their page limited staff and all. I ordered a bow from them Monday, I KNOW it will get here not worried in the least. I am hoping for good pics from their hunt in Kansas.

I know Jim's company is up front. Ordered from them before.like I said I completely forget about holidays. I hope Big Jim is at cloverdale in 2021. I would like to meet him.I I can get saved up I would love to have one of his Desert big horn recurves.

I hear you on that Desert Bighorn I am 100% positive I need one. Problem is every time I order a bow the cost is triple the bow. New carpet in a room or 2, then paint then furniture. Is it Coincidence ?

I bought a bow from his used section and there was no communication. It just showed up. It was As advertised. The price was average to high. but I wanted it. It was wrapped well. I don’t think you have a thing to worry about.

There is a common misconception that I have any idea or hands on experience of any order that leaves my shop.... at least the shipping/order end of it.
I am a simple bowyer but do see to it that my team takes care of business. For some reason, our shipping system doesn't always send out a tracking number. I ask, I'm told it should but I know it doesn't always. One day I hope we can get all of the website issues fixed, but that will likely only bring on new ones.
The ladies were the only people in the office last week and asked if they could not attend to the phones in order to get caught up with "sale" orders. I was good with that. Clint packs most if not all of the bows and he was also off hunting for the week so it likely hasn't shipped.
Unfortunatlely I am back from Kansas and already wishing I could be somewhere else! Life is good, but hunting season is short... and I'm tired.
