From 18 yards, hold at half draw or so for a count of 5, then complete your shot. Then quickly back up 5 steps and send in a follow-up.

Shot my Harvey Archery Crowned Eagle today. 58" 54#. Couple of tapered fir arrows. The hold and fire at 18 was a bit low, the step back 5 yards follow up a bit high.

Forgot to mention that her knocking knot on her string came off right before she shot, but she was freezing so went ahead and shot. I'll fix and she will beat me again;)
