Was looking for 600. Usually buy from Big Jim but didn't see Tradionals on his site unless I missed them some how. Usually buy the blemished. I can't find anything wrong with them and don't know why they are classified as blemished.

I too prefer the BJ Dark Timbers over the GT Traditionals - a much tougher shaft!
Too bad he’s still out of them, less the 400s ...

The Dark Timbers that Jim sells are not the same shaft as the Linkboy shaft.

lowrider, that link will work if you take the spaces out of it before hitting enter. For somem reason these forums won't keep all of the letters together when they are on more than one line.

fdp,
All I know is the guys description on ebay.
{{{"1 Dozen Dark Wood Grain Carbon Arrow Shafts. They are 32" long but can be cut for free. Comes with knocks, and inserts loose. I have 400, 500, 600, 700, and 800 shafts.I just tried these and liked them so I bought 50 dozen to sell. They are the same as many other dark wood grain shafts just the name. I picked this name. Linkboy's is another. Dark Timbers is another. All good shafts at a good price and great quality. + or - .003 straightness. When making payment specify what size shaft you want. Thank you!"}}}
I do know I"ve got several dozen of those Linkboy shafts and they're outstanding.

I like Heritages 75's 90's and 150's myself. I never went wrong with them either. I prefer Gold Tips actually 15 / 35s and there wasn't any real reason. Heritage's are a little heavier than GT's I always thought myself that's why I had a range to test out dependent on bow weight.
Never tried the timbers yet.

Because Big Jim has discussed this subject probably half a dozen times on here in the public forum.
And I have no reason to believe that he would be untruthful about the subject.

I have always used Goldtip and have plenty of components for them. If not for that I might try some of the others. I tuned with a Goldtip Traditional 600 and got results but only had 6 so I wanted a few more.

I saw some good deals on Gold Tips on Amazon the other day. May take a look there.
Also Farmstead Outdoors mentioned above sometimes has good prices on them also.

I just received some 500 spine dark timbers and still have some 400s in stock. I have many, many on order but timing has been a real issue.
These are not linkboy! They are exclusively built to my specs for me.
Thanks, BigJim
