Here's mine. Got yours? That's a 62" Darton recurve, 32 lbs. at her draw length.

Ha ha, no, the only photo I have of me in tights is wearing a Batman costume when I was a kid, and I'll spare you that.

That’s great. I do have one, but I have to teach her to shoot. She can already beat me at basketball, so I haven’t been in too much of a hurry to let her beat me at archery ;)

“I do have one, but I have to teach her to shoot.”
Same here! Only I’m the tallest person in the house at 5’ 4”, so basketball is not really our thing!
Lucky for me she is a FANTASTIC skier… Every time she ever went on a ski trip with a boyfriend, he was gone within a week. I am very fortunate that I met her at an instructor’s clinic, so I got the Keeper! :D

Here's a cool story about her. One afternoon we noticed something dark drop out of the air and thump onto the ground right below that deck. Saw it was a bloody beaver's tail. I was fixing chili, and she trudged through the snow to check it out. As she stooped down, a bald eagle (which had been perched on the roof), swooped within three feet of her head! She was startled, of course, but envigorated by the experience. Within minutes, the beaver's tail was gone, so we couldn't add it to the chili.

She looks so happy, and cute! Keep on doing what you’re doing! Looks like a real success story to me. God bless you, friend, and Happy Thanksgiving! We all need good stories like this.

I've met quite a few lady archers, not so many shooting recurves or longbows. (A few of the compound shooters could be described as 'Amazons' in the best sense of the word.)
At our last 3D shoot we had two 'older' women show up to shoot; they took a while but made it through and complemented the course.
One thing about bigger shoots is that you get a more diverse bunch of archers. Tall and short, young and old, etc. etc.

Yes it is a blessing to find the perfect mate.
I can’t seem to post a picture of mine and she probably prefers it that way. She helps me with everything. She shoots a little and is getting better. We put up stuff from the garden together. I can quarter up a deer and put it on the kitchen table and she helps me cut it up and package it. I would be lost without her.

My wife was a shooting partner for years but has given up shooting now due to many mitigating issues, not the least of which is a knee replacement and old Arthur Itis. We shot for years on the amateur field circuit.

Shooting my childhood first ever commercial bow, 1958 Bear Panda 36#@25. She's drawing an easy 27" at 5'9". Moved on to a Galaxy Ember recurve now.

Love that pic Andy Man. Every time I've ever tried to camp at a "gathering" it was so crowded the guy lines were crossing.
