just came across this product in the most recent Lancaster catalog. Flex Dacrogen Polyester string material. Wonder if anyone has used it and opinions on it after trying it.

The only material I got that is the Flex brand is 4 rolls of their serving and so far it’s been ok but I can’t speak for the string material yet.

I've seen the term "Dacrogen" only on a UK archery website. Seems to be a form of Dacron, which I think is Polyester. I would also like to know more.

What does it offer that B55 doesn't?

Flex sponsor my sister and provide her with all her strings ... she thinks they're excellent.

Seems like it's pretty much the same as B55.

Longcruise Sounds like B55 but with only 1/4 of the color choices.

B-50 and B-55 aren't low stretch, and this product says "low stretch" right on it. That's a darn good price if it is ideed a low stretch material. Be nice to have affordable, low stretch string material to work with versus $60.00 a spool stuff.

That was my thinking too, George. But the descriptions of Flex and B55 seem to both be 100% polyester. So I'm wondering what is the difference if any. It's a Spanish company according to the flex website. They also have a product called Dynagem that is Dyneema based.

They moved from being supplied fiber from BCY to another supplier or suppliers. They have not discovered a source of Poly any better than what they had before.
