Looking for some feedback on the 21" DAS riser. Build quality, is it balanced etc. Thank You

There are different kinds. The current - Dalaa? I don't know all (mine is an Elite), but I think all are very good. A better question for TradTalk.

I can say they're not 21 inches and that's a bit annoying.

I have a 21" Dalaa that is a few years old. I bought it used but in excellent condition. I was always partial to the 17" models going back to the originals in 2005 but I have to say this 21" impresses me a lot. Weight is not heavy but is distributed well and the balance is perfect. Mine has two plunger holes, the newer models have three.

The workmanship on mine is perfect. I have no issues at all.

I'm using SF Ultimate Pro short limbs (40#) on the riser set to a 45# draw weight. I go back and forth between a T-300 rest and a springy with the springy on the bow now. It is the most consistently accurate bow I've ever owned. I don't know if that's due to the length of the riser, the balance or just luck.

I like my early 21" Dalaa. No experience with the later ones, last 3 years or so they increased centershot, and they set back the limb pad riser wall a skosh to better clear limb butt ends.....SEEMS like there was another change....cain't recall it. Cody and some of the others really like the new ones.

The other change i beleive is the anodized finish. I didnt like the bump on the shelf. Ive seen where some folks removed it. Hopefully the new 1s are setup better, but the 1 i had didnt have much wiggle room for centershot adjustment and to still be able to use the bump to shoot off the shelf.

3rd plunger area hole is other change I was thinking of. Brian it does seem like they went (back?) to the harder ? type 3 anodizing lately.....not sure I said the technical term right...

The riser i had was powdercoated. What id like to see is a removeable shelf bump like the tribute. Id also like to see more grip options, ive never been a fan of the jager grips.

I been working with a tempest riser lately and the jury is still out but I would darn near trade it for a new dalaa 21". The thing is mine is the latest version and for the time being my favorite hunting riser.

I have Morrison Phoenix 21" and I love it too. The das generates a little more power.

You can't go wrong with the dalaa 21".

Thank you for the input everyone
