Linda, I know you're onto a good idea. What I don't know is good bowyers who are in your area. Mike Treadway here in the mountains (Marshall) makes longbows with the same devotion to quality as Ben and he might have some ideas for you to pursue.

Ben made one of the best bows I've ever shot and that's recurve and longbow . I would love to see them come back !

From: Dry Bones

I am really glad to see this. I LOVE my Alpha male, and at some point would not mind getting another set of limbs for it, if that would ever be possible. Good Luck finding a bowyer and God Bless.

I am fortunate enough to own a 3 pc longbow. It is a wonderful longbow in every way. I will never get rid of it.

I hope someone with talent can pick up where Ben left off.

IF this goes really well, Linda my bow will be back for another set of limbs. You had re-finished it for me a few years back and it's seen some miles since. Would not mind having a heavier set of limbs. God Bless and best wishes.

That's great Linda. I have always been a fan of the bows you and Ben built. I like to say that of the 10 best shooting bows that I have shot, about 6-7 of them were Hummingbirds.

Once I had to borrow a bow to shoot in the West Va. aerial championship. The bow was a Hummingbird, and I won the event with the bow. I couldn't have ask for a better bow.

Good luck Linda

I'm really happy for you Linda! I met you and Ben at Cloverdale around 15 years ago and really liked you. I remember seeing you knocking down the aerial targets like it was nothing! Anyway,I bought a Humming bird from you and and will most likely buy a longbow when you get up and running. God bless, Daniel
