I think that bow was advertised as being "double-stabilized"...whatever that means!

Yes you are correct it was marketed that way but i don't see an explanation of what it actual means

Many of the older target bows, before metal too over, were touted as double stabilized. It was a buzz term to mean the mass was ballanced between both upper and lower riser with weight toward each end....i.e. horns. Those old bows are a pleasure to shoot and normally dead in the hand. Reminds me of my old Shakespeare Titan from 1969.

Well I got to shoot the Hawaiian today and it performed very well. It is a little loud but some cat whiskers will fix that. I shot target out to 55 yards with great success and as George said it is dead in the hand. I have wanted one for a long time and this was the first one i found in this quality of condition, I am very pleased to have it in my collection.
