Went to the range this AM. Haven’t shot since first week of March. No issues keeping space, only 5 people all morning long. I almost left right away, put first 3 arrows in the bull at 20 yards. But snapped to my senses and shot 42 targets with a couple friends. At least we didn’t have to make reservations like the gun guys do. They did pick up the tables where we would normally sit and take a break. I sure envy those that can shoot at home at times.

Our club has been open all along, and I just haven’t managed to get there. I’m going to blame it in part on the elbow injury that’s been nagging me since October.…
Glad to hear you got out!

I feel bad for anyone who can't get out and go do things. Not much has changed for us in reality other than the social gathering thing. Went to church this past Sunday for the first time in awhile and that was nice. We have lots of room to roam otherwise and hopefully this crap will abate soon for those who don't have the same opportunities.

Our state maintains archery ranges in various parts of the state , which is on state owned land. I have two not far from me and one is surrounded by state land that I hunt on. The range I use most never was closed and never more than 3 of us were there when I went. With 12 targets spread out in an open field that is about 150 ft. wide, social distancing is not a problem. At same location there is also a course in the woods. Been thankful for this.
