Turkey season had a 2 weeks in state quarantine before you could hunt as a nonresident. Hope there is not a reoccurrence this fall for your sake during archery deer season.

There are some big deer here in Kansas but not the numbers that a lot of people envision. Yay! Another year we have the wardens evict trespassers hunting our property who are put there by 'outfitters' who don't ask permission.

Kansas doesn't have big numbers but they have a good number of big bucks. I used to hunt there for their unique racks. I just think they're shaped cool. I considered them a different subspecies of whitetail. Later years I just hunted muleys out by Cimarron Grasslands of Morton county. Hope all you guys get drawn.
