Did the old robin hood and you thought it was cool. Well it's not anymore. Just looking at my fletched to bareshaft planeing, First group with fletched and bamo. Wrecked a perfectly good arrow.

Yup, it sucks.

Never had one but had alot of broken nocks. It's all about swaged or open end nocks. Pin nocks can also save you a bunch of arrows too. Someday folks will get it.

It never has been cool. When you can call the bullseye and then call the robinhood, then it will be cool. Sorry for your $ loss

Draw a dot,and shoot 1 arrow. Draw another dot and shot another arrow etc. 5 dots, and 5 arrows, and retrieve.

Nock bushings have saved me a ton of money over the years.

Had a bunch of them, running across my shop. About a $120 worth. I took them down a few years ago. JF

Only done it once and didn't like it.

Yeah. It sucks. That's why I only used sights, aluminum arrows and compounds for two years. (1980-1982).

Too expensive.

OldBuck, "What's worse is when you crack a nock and don't notice it until the next shot with that arrow."

I agree with you on that one. Yes, usually shoot one arrow at a time or spot shoot at different spots or arrow holes in target depending on yardage. But when tuning, I like groups. Thats when things get wrecked. Part of the game I guess if you shoot alot. I wouldn't say lucky shot, more so unlucky shot.
