Was out walking on the proper when I got a text that there were hogs at the feeder around a half mile away. I literally ran 90 percent of the way there, kicked off my boots and approached quickly on a sandy trail as close as I could get with the fickle wind, using blackberries for cover. Hog went around 60 yards even though it was heart shot.

I wish I could have pigs around to shoot all year. I know they are considered pests and we don't want them to spread, but I would have a freezer full of wild pork.
