Need help with the name of a Longbow shooter from the New England area (Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, etc.). Produced a Longbow tuning and shooting video in the early to mid-90s, where he shot an Elburg Jaguar Longbow. Also, demonstrated how to sharpen a Grizzly Broadhead. Pretty sure he was a New England Longbow Champion, and had also won the GLLI one or two years in the late ‘80s / early ‘90s. Thanks for the help!! - John

Bob Watkins is it!! Had the video, and either lost it in a move, or loaned it out and forgot to retrieve it. In any case, am also hoping I can find something on YouTube. As I recall, the guy had really good form, but it was his solid, to the face anchor that really caught my attention. Many thanks for everyone’s help!!

Bob is a great guy.

Bob does taxidermy and still gets out to shoot 3D sometimes. He has one of the smoothest shots you'll ever see.

Walter Lucki was 21 in '97

He did develop target panic and switched to golfing I believe. The last time someone asked what happened to him he actually popped up on the thread and commented.

So what happened to Walter Lucky?

A lot of people said he didn't have the mindset to be a long term archery champion.

Others said the whole "World Champion" thing was kind of blown out of proportion but lets be honest all IBO type stuff is.

I saw this old VHS on an auction site.

Seems like I saw the same auction site, hawking the video for over $200.00. For as much as I wished I still had my copy of the video, I’d settle for a good picture of that anchor he demonstrated during the video.
