It has not been cancelled. Go to archeryfestivals.com/ to keep abreast of those shoots. Pa. is working to open up the state as is the DCNR as well so everything is in limbo right now. Stay tuned.

Sawmill is not on DCNR property so won’t fall under any State Park camping regs, like ETAR would, but would violate state guidelines of no gatherings of more than 25 people under a “yellow phase” in our State’s reopening.
Just my opinion - it would irresponsible to hold the shoot. Things will be worse by June with states opening before we really have things under control. As much as I love the this shoot, I won’t be going even it happens.

According to the Gubment there will be 3000 deaths a day in June. So no bowshoots I would say.

ski sawmill is privately owned...I'd be surprised if they have it, things will get opened up sooner in rural areas, but I'd still be surprised.

Haven't been to the Sawmill shoot in years, but you never know. It's not nearly as crowded as ETAR. It should be okay by the end of June, but those folks who are in the "susceptible" class may want to make sure they are protected in some manner.

Potter Co. will be in the "Green Phase" starting tomorrow.
Guidelines from the Govenor's website about the "Green Phase":
>>>Any gathering for a planned or spontaneous event of greater than 250 individuals is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, a concert, festival, fair, conference, sporting event, movie showing, or theater performance.<<<
You can check it out here: https://www.governor.pa.gov/newsroom/gov-wolf-issues-updated- green-phase-order-guidance-on-dining-and-professional-sports/
I haven't seen or heard any official decision to cancel or hold it. I'm just providing info.

I have made a decision for myself as big a area as Sawmill is and with the courses the way they are I can be safe enough for me. I will go to this and any other shoot that is open. If people are allowed to do all the stuff I see them doing then I will be doing what I want to do as safe as I can. At a shoot I do not need to be close to anyone I don't want to be close to its a big open area not a tight enclosed area. Just me everyone has to do what they think is best for themselves. Widow
