Alright... this past Friday I went pig hunting again. I was riding my bike to where I THOUGHT the pigs were when I spotted them in a spot that I thought they were NOT. They were on the edge of a pasture that had a wet bog along the east end. LOng story short- I checked the breeze, stashed my bike so the cows wouldn’t stomp it, and I began to circle. I made my way through the bog just in time to see them coming toward me so I just squatted. There were several big hogs, but they were bringing up the rear, normally I’d wait on those, but the lead piggy was closing. When it was evident that he was going to keep toward me I drew and drilled him quartering to me. On small hogs this shot will work. I busted his shoulder to pieces. The other hogs disappeared.

Then..... I switched to night time. Green light. Lots of fun. The pigs can’t see it. I can’t explain it but it works. Anyway, I slipped up on a nice size, stinky boar and let him hold it. A good evening overall. Thanks to Jon Stewart for the shafts. They’re bent now, but they did their job well. First hog got a woodsman. Second received a razorhead. I hope the pictures load.
