Goodness, I hope it goes on. I missed the USA indoor final, NFAA indoor nationals, my trip to Ireland got cancelled, my club is closed and shooting/training in my backyard (while beneficial) is more like work than fun. I miss me some archery competition!

Yep hoping we can do it, but not looking that good right now.We will decide the 1st of June if not before.Clyde you can come visit anyway, you would love the practice range we have set, 4 elk 2 Lions,muley and lots of other cool critters, 27 3d's in all at 25 stations with 4 hanging balls and a long distance set also on the course.We have been shooting it a lot, just a few to have something to keep us sane. I was there several years ago at Pappy's farm / range, and it is one of the nicest set up for archery around and I ve been to many of them. If you haven't seen it and shot it you should consider going. Pappy and the guys are great hosts.

Pappy and his bunch at Twin Oaks have done more for the preservation of traditional archery than anybody in the world is my guess. Wonderful people and a magical place to shoot arrows, for sure.

We are making the final decision on May 30, it looks like this might be a go, I will post by 1st of June, as of now IBO is on board we just need to see if the club is, I think from talking to several that we are but will confirm the 30th. A few of the local clubs here are re-opening for 3D shoots. One club posted these guidelines for their upcoming shoot. Feel free to adopt and adapt for your shoots.

We cancelled two but just had our first shoot since all this started. A one day open shoot. We kept people back from the registration and only allowed one at a time to come up, pay and get a card. We put out extra hand sanitizer out at the water coolers, sign in table and at the porta johns. People are wanting to get out. We had folks from Arkansas, Alabama ,Kentucky and from West and East Tennessee. Best turn out we ever had for a one day shoot. I am really hoping the show goes on Pappy. We plan on being there.

3D's are opening up here at several clubs now. If this gout flare-up in my foot subsides I may shoot tomorrow. With proper 'social distancing' of course ;-)
I'm planning to host at my home club on July 12, with rules in place similar to what's posted above.
I believe we can shoot and be safe IF we choose. Best of luck to those looking forward to Twin Oaks.
