My first attempt at a maple board bow. It has one piece glued on for a handle. I used a textured fabric to back the bow. Kind of crude but it shoots well.

It is holding up well after a year of shooting. SD

Looks good SD. Do you shoot it from other sides?

Yes, I shoot both left and right. I started shooting lefty last year after a shoulder impingement last year. The shoulder is much improved after fourteen months. SD

My second effort, last Fall, was a little different and refined. I used a two piece glued on handle to give a deeper riser. It is dual shelf, maple board, 68", and 40#@28". I used a black stretchy nylon type fabric for backing.

I made the tips from hard coloured acrylic material. Something a little different. SD

Nice work and great job filleting. My first board bow was maple when first finished was 60# after a year it dropped to 45#. East coast humidity got to it.
