How about a string puff giveaway?

The outdoor writer, Bill Heavey, said that he bought fishing gear that he didn't need because it floated his brain in feel good endorphins. I may be doing the same thing here.

Just say I'm in, and I'll pick five names next Wednesday, the 15th. I'll send each of the five two sets of string puffs. These are Rick Barbee utube style puffs that measure about 2" in diameter. I've got black, white, blue, orange, and yellow acrylic yarn. I'm all out of organic yak fibers. I can make them a single color, half and half, or with a contrasting middle. If you really need camo, I'll get some green and brown but don't expect Mossy Oak. I haven't used these in the rain... what do you want for nothin? Stay healthy.

That's a good idea. I have about 30 yards of Navaho Churro wool and have used about 10 feet so far. Those Navaho sheep don't come in orange or mauve and teal however. Just boring gray.

Update:

I ordered four colors of 100% wool yarn in soft colors to tie up string puffs for hunting bows. It is due to arrive late this week, but I'll still pick the five names on Wednesday.

I'll post pictures of a few wool puff examples before the winners order their patterns.

I received some 100% wool yarn today. I can use it to make string puffs in muted colors for hunting bows. Here are a few examples shown with some acrylic puffs. They will fuzz out more when shot a few times.
