A family gave me a bow from the late husband. The bow is a 80s/90s vintage (guessing) Martin cougar magnum where the compound limbs are cracked, and delaminated, where I am guessing someone draw fired it.
The riser appears to be magnesium or aluminum, as I forget what Martin used, with the plastic grip handle, but I recall that a friend had one rated at 100-pounds draw that broke in 1/2 at the riser at full draw. The limbs wind- milled around and missed both of us, as I was shooting next to him, facing him on the line, as I am a lefty.
In the case are 2 brand new Martin recurve limbs, to make it into a 68”, 37# bow. Any guesstimated value on such a ‘warf’ bow? Were they any good?
