Well you all make my first attempt at a bamboo garden stake arrow look like crap lol. I used goose secondaries and am trying for a flu flu effect. Used 16d nail for the head running 125 grain I think. Probably going to switch to the same weight blunt. Couldn’t wait til my shafts arrive from China so this was to tide me over. Not pretty but shoots well going to use as a practice/ small game arrow.

Just made a set yesterday. 75-80 spine douglass fir that I tapered the last 12" of and stained with ebony. Cut some Pope & Youngs for 'em. I don't get too fancy anymore, I like very simple and functional. and I tend to wreck em pretty quickly.

The stone points are petrified coral. Super hard and super sharp. You just have to man up when knapping it. Tough stuff.
