I need a new shooting glove. I like the feel of my Bearpaw, but would like a single seam glove that is otherwise similar.
Is there such a thing?

Neet makes several excellent gloves and they have been making them for many, many years. As good as any and better than many,

I have a Wyandotte single seam made for Bear Archery, nothing cheap about it. Used it for about 6 or 7 years before I retired it. Leather is still good but the elastic wore out. Excellent glove.

This might also be a great opportunity to experiment with the tab…
Dire Wolf convinced me to go to a tab and it has paid off handsomely!

I have nearly every glove made and recently discovered that if I just nip the ends off of the fingers so that my finger tips poke out and just touch my face at full draw...they all work. You might try clipping the very ends of the finger stalls off on an old glove and see how it works. It won't cost you anything... :)

You do not specify which Bearpaw glove. They make several.

To DDave's comment ... are the Bearpaw Speed Glove ($25) with X8 fabric or the similar Bodnik Speed Glove w/ X8 ($27) ... "really that good" or is it a gimmick? Meaning, either is really no better (faster) than another well made/used glove.
FWIW, I lube the finger tips of my leather-tipped gloves with gelled coconut oil.
Once I did a 'speed test' of a hair-covered tab, H-Hill longbow glove and 4 other gloves (one with calfhair tips) ... and the simple Damascus leather glove gave the fastest arrow speeds for me.

Take a look at E W Bateman's web site also. Be prepared for sticker shock but the quality is fantastic. The one I'm using is over eight years old and thats with a lot of shooting.

I never used a single seam glove Jim, so that one looked like the best of what is advertised. I would personally buy a Neet glove, and I actually have a couple of theirs.

I have never done any speed comparison because I just don't care. Arrow speed has never been an issue for me.
I like the older Speed Gloves I have because they work great and they used to cost 15CAD
I shot 3D last June starting with a golf glove because I left my gloves and tabs at home. Part way through I added a friend's Speed Glove I found where he dropped it.
In Canada we shoot with whatever is handy, eh.
