Many of you know me, I am asking for prayers for my 19 year old grandson Patrick. this past Saturday while playing paintball games with his brothers and some friends, the bank of a ridge he was on broke away and sent him tumbling down about 35 feet. He broke both legs and both feet. He had surgery this morning, will be in a wheelchair for 4 to 6 weeks and best bets on normal recovery is 7 to 9 months. He is a freshman at George Mason University, and semester exams begin this week, not sure if he will be able to complete them.. Thanks Grant

Thank you folks. Not much to report yet. Patrick is still in the hospital, I talked to him today, He has tried to stand with crutches but just can't, to much pain, not surprising when you consider that he is 6'4" 245 . Got legs on him that even Paul Bunion wouldn't try.

Speaking as a retired college prof, I will say that this is one of the few reasons why professors are granted the ability to issue “incompletes.” I hope and pray that your grandson’s instructors will allow him the time he needs to properly prepare for his final exams.

Our thoughts are with you, your grandson, family, his professors and the medical staff as they all travel this road to healing and full health.
