I've tried a lot of different hats over the years but these caps are my all time favorite. Their made of wool and keep .your head warm and give no problem shooting.

I wear face masks or neck garters to cover my face, try them out, nothing wrong with lookin sporting.

That's my favorite kind of cap.

Great hat for the archer. Don't have to, but I prefer to turn mine around when shooting. Been wearing one for several years.

Style, function and comfort. Home Run.

No thanks. I like the Fred Bear style. Aren't those hats made for riding around in a convertible with the top down?

Used to have a green Kangol, made of wool. Don’t know what happened to it.

Look up 'newsboy cap' on e-bay. I filtered the results for wool and wool bends, and for second-hand -

I wore that style back in the early 70's until I went to the baseball style cap. I started wearing them again about 5 years ago. They've come back in fashion lately so there are plenty being offered again from different makers. I prefer the duckbill over the other styles. Never cared for the big floppy looking "newsboy".

I agree and also wore mine backwards when shoting. A real Irish Donegal wool cap is worth the trouble to find. After mine got assaulted by a bored puppy, I replaced it with an Irish Walking Hat, ( Hanna Hats in Donegal), a bucket stlye similar to those Dan makes, and the short brim helps keep any rain out of my eyes and off my ears and neck. I found it new on ebay for half price--tourists buy them and decide they'll never wear them. Had a chickadee spend a few minutes nestled into the divot of the hat on top my head while sitting on the ground last month.

I've only owned one Donegal wool hat and have never seen another one to buy. I'll have to check out Ebay. Funny thing is about what Bowguy said I could go from hunting to a fancy restaurant and not feel out of place because most of the time I'm not wearing camo and wearing a nice wool jacket. As far as being dangerous a few Turkeys and deer have made that fatal mistake of getting too close.lol

Nine, donkey. I’m glad you like them but you won’t catch me in one.

Will Tell....Amazon has scads of them for sale.

Aw come on Dendy, you can set a new fashion trend down there in Georgia! ;)) They're not for everybody, gotta have the right shaped head...or try out the different styles (many) that jive with your noggin.

fdp said it, lots to choose from on Amazon...Donegals from Ireland also but pricy. I think I have close to 20 now...wool, wool blends, cottons and linens. I've gotten many compliments on them, from both men and women asking where I got them.
