Great pics Craig. That buck walking away is a good one. But the one with the rack missing, disturbs me greatly. To see it shot and wasted just for a set of antlers just tells me how warped some people are. And the doe too. Could have been spared just for the uniqueness. Bothers me. Thanks for putting up your journey this fall. Those rubs are inspiring for sure. I think that I'd be focusing time near a few of those! :)

Thanks for taking us along Craig. Too bad for that albino doe... At least she fed some scavengers.

Here is a pic of my wife while we were down in Quebec Run on a lunch break. We saw a few deer. She was hunting with her 50# Pearson Mustang that she fun barrels to 28”!. following week in Greene county Nov 9th - No fewer than 9, 8 point bucks. I just couldn’t get my shot. A few didn’t come close enough or stop. One bolted right i was getting ready to draw. It was an amazing day. A season I will look back with fondness on. There is still December!

This is from mid October. We were hunting keystone state park and she saw it! We have 6 children together and this was the first year we could trust the oldest two to watch the other four. It was awesome to be together like that. I still need help getting her a deer(or bear I do bow hunt the general bear season). All prayers are appreciated(as long as the are ones to Jesus’ Father of course) hope everyone has a great thanksgiving!

Nice photos buddy. I'm going to look forward to bow time after next Saturday when rifle season comes in, then in late season too. I'm okay to be back out among em again. Love the photos. Nature isn't always pretty but it's always nature..killing and eating to survive. Good luck in the next season. Well, we actually have plenty of good luck just being out there. ;)

Craig, just love your posts, this one was bitter/sweet due to the white doe and the dead deer with only the antlers taken, I wonder what the Lord thinks of that disrespect for one of His creatures! BTW, that ladybug is a fake, its a new invasive called a Asian Lady Beetle. Look a LOT like ladybugs. You can Google to see pictures of them side by side.

My friend Craig, Excellent story line and even more excellent photos. Capturing photos like you have is almost as satisfing as hunting itself. I like you association with the hawk, a primitive sign our indian brothers would have used. Mine happens to be owls. I see them when hunting or hiking and it always lifts my spirit and feel better for it. Thanks for your post!
