shot from the knee as called with the Frankenbow. gonna switch out to some 40lb journey limbs tonight. thinking 10 strands of ff with about 22 strands in the bundle loops.

Thanks for the call, Chad. What little time I've had to shoot in recent months has been with my hunting bows, so I snuck some guilty pleasure tonight as the streetlights came on with my 1963 Firedrake, 41# lefty. Shot taken from both knees...like kissing an old girlfriend.

Got mine in with a new to me today, Black Hawk Galaxy Mars. 52”-55#, and a 2114 aluminum arrow. I’ll clean it up tomorrow and get a Flemish string and wool silencers made. Think I’ll use some black beaver leather for a strike plate, as the rug rest is fine. Have a good evening everyone, and Mark, I wouldn’t let your wife read your first shot post today! ;-) Lance
(PS: Bow put the arrow right where I was looking, including the 6 shots I took after the FS!)
