I have a bow with which I think I can tune a 2020 arrow. It’ll take some point weight to do it, but thinking it would still shoot flat enough to hunt with.
Anybody else thinking to do this next year - Hunting with an arrow that matches the calendar?
Seems like this would have been the decade to do it, and might well be the last chance, ever.... Not many of us will be hunting in 2114.....

2215's fly well from my 65#+ bows. Guess I'll have to take better care of myself.

Ummmmm, no. Use a birth year bow that matches the draw weight of your age, and maybe you are onto something.

I have a '69 Super Kodiak that pulls 51# at my 30" draw and it shoots 31" 2020's with 175 gr. heads very well.Guess I'll have to hunt with it next year.

They don't respond the same as carbon shafts do, but they do respond. A good way to add point weight to them is to glue in steel adapters for glue-on type broadheads. Heavy and much stronger than aluminum inserts for screw-on broadheads. I made up some that way that I was able to tune to a 50# longbow. That was a marginal match and I had to be careful to make a full pull and a strong shot.
They were intended to be suitable for close range use on big and bitey game, as in Alaska, Asia and Africa. They hit like thunderbolts and were great penetrators. But I never won the lottery so I could not go there. - lbg
