So.... Looking at Easton Platinum vs Camo Hunters and noticed that they come with different nocks...
Are X-nocks the itty-bitty target nocks for skinny strings, or are they pretty much the same?

X nocks are used in the Easton 5MM Axis and FMJ shafts. They are small but not specifically for skinny strings.

The X nocks fit pretty well on the skinnier strings that I use. They can easily be widened a bit if you are using a heavier string. I have found them to be very tough over the long haul.

Are they tougher, or just harder to hit??
LOL
I guess both types of shaft are about the same price, since the Hunters conf with inserts and the Platinum don’t appear to - probably because the Target folks are more likely to shoot nibs....
May as well get the camos, I guess...

I've shot many X nocks with no problem. They hold up fine, fit tight and are accurate. The nock I refuse to shoot is the little tiny thing they put in Gold Tip Hunter Pro shafts.
