I just finished this bow 45 lbs. at 26 inch draw, and 450 gr. arrow shot 154 fPS average. The bow has humps , bumps ,and knots, so I am happy with the results. It was a hard one to get tillered properly. It was made from an Osage sapling. The 3 shot group is 2 fletched arrows, and one bare shaft.I have shot couple hundred arrows through it, so it looks like it is going to hold up for a while. Never Know.I have a lot of hours tied up in this one.Seems to be a very good shooter. Now on to the next one.Good shooting and hunting.

Not everyone can make a bow. My hat is off to you. Nice job. Good luck with it.

Cool looking bow Bob. It looks like a challenging bow to tiller.

Saplings can come with their own challenges and can be a real bugger to bring to string in a good way... even when they look nice and straight and clean the way they stand. And sinew too? Good job, Bassman.

Thanks Bjrogg, the sinew is still fresh so I will let it hang till next year. I suspect it will gain some draw weight by then, and I will retiller. My friend Will B. gave me the sapling. It was a whole new experience ,and very difficult for me get tillered trying to work with all the humps, and knots.
