Are stiktamers a good option for recurves pros and cons,and which are quieter in flight woodsmen or woodsmen elites

I'm sure Stiktamers work pretty well. Bu there's lots of things that do that don't cost nearly as much. No discernible difference in the sound of the fligh of the broadheads you mentioned.

I have started to add them to my recurves lately. One bow in particular I have has pretty curved limb tips. Stix tamers got it quite without overloading the string with fur or wool balls. I left the small cat whiskers on the string. Can’t quote on longevity as I just started using them this past spring.

A little felt on the string grooves works fine and cost pennies.

|
The sticktamers work on a different source of noise than do silencers. They work to cushion string slap while silencers cut string vibration. Padding the area of the slap either on the limb or string does the same.
