Take your son to the Pa. Bowhunter's Festival in September, at Forksville, Pa. It's not just traditional, but it's an awesome time and a lot families attend. It's been going for 63 years this year and all the proceeds go to charities in Sullivan County, Pa. It's Sep. 13, 14 and 15.

Fredjake, Meadville has one Father's Day weekend. Rainbow in Franklin has one Memorial weekend. Presque Isle field archers have a 3d shoot this weekend open to all. There is usually a group of traditional archers there. Hawkeye is about an hour and half away. I believe they shoot this weekend. I live in Erie. If you need more help finding local shoots just message me.

Hope to maybe meet some of you since I will be helping out. York Archers is my home club.

I shot there once back in the 1970's, can't remember the year exactly but it was a 28 target Field Round. If the course/club is the same place it is well worth the time to go if you are at all close.

It is actually a bit south and east of York.
