I have a rule that if you don't post, you don't get my consideration. If they are posting classified ads, they are registered but just not posting...taking but not taking part. No reason they can't at least answer PM's or e-mails.

Ive run into sellers that sometimes only check in once or twice a week. Or it could be they fell ill. I know one good guy here couple year or two back he got in a car wreck after he sold a bow but hadnt shipped it, poor fella got his name dragged through the mud for 3 or 4 weeks, finally he got out of the hospital and shipped the bow and everyone was happy but it did damage to his reputation he had to repair. Bottom line be careful, try and do business with vetted folks or at least get a phone number. Never assume about people unless you have some decent evidence. Remember it could be you that has an accident or illness after a sale. Rant over.

nineworlds9 shares words of wisdom to a sometimes "assumptive of the worst" crowd! Thanks for speaking up!

Great post nineworlds9! An open mind and the ability to see outside of ones own little world seems to be a rare thing these days.

With Monkeyball on this one. I do prefer to have some history of posts to do business, but I bought my Hummingbird from a non- poster 2 years ago. Next to the Freeman it's one of my favorites.

Thanks to everyone for the input.I have dealt with lots of guys here and met great friends due to the leatherwall.Just seems we never really had so much scamming in the past.Oh well, thats part of things now,I guess. It doesn't take away from all of the great people on this site.I really appreciate having it.thanks Tom

I just quit buying or selling bows online and life is a lot simpler.
