Looking at a DH Hunter in a second hand store with a serial number HHO. What does the "O" signify? I have found some info on the third letter for a number of different letters but nothing on the "O". Any help?

"Not many 70s Hunters in the post, so here's mine. I understand HHO = 1970. It's Bubinga with rosewood stripe."

"O" was actually used for 1968 and 1969. "P" was 1970-71.
Let me know what the serial numbers are and I'll have a look at my database when I get home and let you know which year.

Just buy it, shoot it and never look back. Any old Hunter is gold.
