For me that starts about the third week of September and our annual trip to Sullivan County, Pa., and the Pa. Bowhunters Festival. I try not to dismiss any part of the year but I do favor the autumn. I love the seasonal changes and wouldn't be happy in a place that didn't have that occurence. I'm a long- time Pennsylvania hillbilly, born and raised in the country so I completely understand that autumn attraction.

Took a day yesterday as well. Hung a new stand, trimmed up a couple trails, stuck two pigs and sweat 10 gallons. Yes sir. The dog days of summer are upon us, BUT that means I am in my final prep time for the upcoming fall. I'll agree if you can just refuse the urge for a little scratching they do heal a lot faster, and ALWAYS take time to do a thorough investigation for the parasitic arachnid. Hope you have some productive days ahead that prove to be even more successful in the season to come.
