I've been using Saunders NPV for nocks and feathers on aluminum with good results. It has a nice applicator tip and lays down nicely on the feather. Other glues have been either difficult to use in fletching, or have not given best results. So far, the NPV has been all things.

That's all I use for arrows, good stuff.

Back in my compound days, I used it all the time for fletching. I really liked it.

That's what I use,it last longer and stays flexable. Just a little harder to find.

I strictly used Bohning glue when crown dipping with Bohning paints. Last few doz arrows I sprayed them down with Rustoleum and used the Saunders NPV on the feathers with great results.

Bloodtrailer and Steath2, very nice looking arrows!

npv seems to work well for me on a variety of different arrow setups, wood/poly or spar urethane, carbon and over wraps etc. I don't shoot aluminum anymore, so can't say anything on that, but so far npv may be the most versatile fletching glue I've ever used.

I shoot aluminum and it works just fine on them as well....even bare aluminum.

Pretty much all I have been using unless I am experimenting. I did read on another site a gentleman had issues with NPV glue and wet hunting conditions in Alaska. He didn’t say if the shafts were bare or not. I cannot comment on wet conditions like Alaska living here in AZ. I do know feathers I put on a spray cap five years ago are still hanging on. I pull on them every once in awhile to see. I usually use wraps on carbons and aluminums. I have no issues with woods either that I have cap sprayed.

Many things can affect adhesion, and one of those things is making sure the shaft is prepped to start with. Aluminum needs to be cleaned of release solution before fletching whether dipping, or simply fletching.

NPV works great. I just got some Pine Ridge Archery glue that seems to work really good also.

Another example James...I used Rustoleum and fully painted these 2117's Sky Blue. Used the NPV and you'll notice the turkey feathers are real, made for me by Stykzz here on leatherwall and I had no issues with any feathers coming off.

NPV is what I use and have had good results with no problems for several years.

IMHO... Saunders is THE Fletching Glue to use!

I also had all the fletch fall off two dozen arrows in wet, cold weather the first, and last, time I tried NPV.

Shafts prepped the same time and fletched with Fletch-Tite Platinum were fine.

Must have been a bad batch but I was spooked and went back to FTP.
