Put a new wrap on the handle and ready to go hunting. This is the best deal I ever got on this site. 62" Osage self bow that yanks about 45# at 25 inches. I've been trying to kill a deer with a self bow for quite awhile. This might be the year.I got the bow and 6 bone nocked bamboo arrows for $100.00 a few years back from a fella who went by the handle Black Bird.

I almost didn't buy a hunting license this year and out of the blue my son said he wanted to archery hunt . Been a few years since we've been Archery hunting together. We got our licenses yesterday and put in for four Doe tags. I always buy extra tags but one deer is plenty. Things sure can change in a day. Sure is nice to have my hunting buddy back.

Nothing better than hunting with yer boy. Deer or no deer... you've secured the win.

That’s great when the kids “GET” you to go hunting. Good job raising that one. Make the most of your time together, it passes to quickly!

Good to hear Will. Hell you don't need to kill a single deer to enjoy the outdoors, and hunting with your son is as good as it can get. Take a camera with you for sure and record some memories.

That's great Will. Like jarhead said. It's great hunting with your kids. I agree with George to. You don't have to even draw your bow to enjoy the hunt. Kids would usually like to shoot at something though and it's nice to see stuff even if it's just non target animals. I also agree take a camera. Some of my favorite pictures are of my son and I hunting together.

PS the brace profile looks pretty nice on that $100 bow. Some guys want that much for a Osage stave. If you had to do all the work involved in preparation of staves you understand why.

Have fun enjoy

Will, the bow looks great but the hunting with your son takes the cake and then some! I have a 12 year old son and nothing in the world makes me happier than spending time outdoors with him.

May you and your boy have a blessed and memory filled season!
