Well after the last one and that bad idea on the riser I’ve got bow number 2 finally glued up. Bocote limbs, no carbon this time, did a 1/4” I beam of bubinga inside some nice black walnut I had. This one is being built at my dads shop so the going is slow only having an hour or 2 every few days. Going for 58# at 27 and hoping to beat the speed of my other one that broke which was 172fps with 675 grain arrows at 54#s. Slightly tweaked the design I had and am leaving my tips lighter.

And I logged out and couldn’t log back in with what I thought was the right date so now I’m using this account.

Looks like you're off to a good start! Really easy on the eyes.

My dad talked me into trying a grinder like he does for log cabins and it works pretty well and cleans up easily with a orbital sander. Limb alignment is now dialed in and limbs are sanded to 220, gonna finish out the riser(a lot left!!) and get it all to 320 grit and starting shooting it in!

Took it to the weekly shoot tonight, I might just sand it down and finish it! Shoot took about 2 hours and it was super comfortable in the hand and shot really well! The course is for compound guys with shots 20-45 yards and a majority at 30-35 and I got a 113 out of 250 possible. Untuned and literally my first time out from 10 yards with it- I’ll take it!
