Been a couple years since I have been there. Was going to shoot a 60” R/D longbow, with carbon arrows. Is that a problem ? Seems like years ago it was wood arrows only ? So ehat im asking is, what are the classes, can we shoot multiple classes, and is the cost for camping ? Showers ?

Word has it that this year will be an epic shoot with a number of new shooting opportunities.

The GLLI is always a great weekend...especially for those who bring their families.

Longbows and any arrows can be used. They will be honoring my Chris at the 21 arrow salute this year.

Camping is only $20 no showers though. weather looks great and the crowd will be good. Lots of room though to camp. Randy be sure to stop at the vendor area and say hi to Tracey and I.

All the info is on the website

I was thinking there were showers at the pavilion down the road towards the lake but I might be wrong. If not there's always the swimming area at the lake to rinse off.

I'm having a booth this year, stop and say HI!

Big thanks to those that put on the shoot. I know how much work it is, and really appreciate it. Also big thanks to a great bunch of vendors, and super nice people we ran in to everywhere , got to shoot with two fine old gentlemen, John and Ed, and made lifelong friends camping as well ! Hope to make it back for many years to come.

bowhunt the shoot is always the second weekend in August at Charleton Park in Hastings MI. Hope to see you there next year.

Randy was great seeing you

Was there all day Saturday. Enjoyed seeing old friends, and meeting a few new ones. Picked up a few things from the vendors. The Michigan Longbow association has been doing this since the 1980s. They really work hard to put on a great shoot at a nice place. Mark your calendars for next year.

Ah...Ron, you were so young!

Missed the GLLI this year, but plan on a road trip from WY to be there in 2020.

Be well

Missed it too. Had all my stuff packed and a sick kiddo derailed me, next year for sure. Looks like another great one.
