I am getting ready to fletch some arrows and thinking about this shape fletch, Just wonder how they might work. My arrows are 700s from a 30lb bow 29"draw. with only a 2" fletch would 4 be better than 3 fletch? thank you

Mine are a little longer, but I don’t have a problem with the shortness. The shape is what creates the tip vortex and the correct aerodynamics. I like the razor vanes also.

I have tried them. I was gifted feathers and vanes. I fletched up the feathers on a few carbons. I shot them from my R/D LB and Bear recurve. They flew just like any other feather fletched arrow. Now that’s with field points only!

Is Rayzor a Trueflight produced? They have something that has a higher profile than normal. They made more noise than standard. I ended up going with a standard 2 inch feather. I think is was 13 MM high. Not sure what a mm is though? LOL.

13MM is .512 or a little more than half an inch.

If the arrow bareshafts well 3 is fine.

I have used them with big broadheads.

Rayzrs are a Gateway product.

The Razors are a higher profile and a lil stiffer than most feathers. If I shoot 2", I run a four fletch. If shooting the 3", I run three fletch. They hold up pretty good.

I have some 2.25" Shield cut Gateways behind 160 Snuffers, or 160 Magnus 2 blade, or 160 glue on Cutthroats. All fly well and they don't get blown off in the wind as much as a 5", that is if you're shooting well enough and far enough to be able to guage that.

I shoot the 2.5” Gateway bat wings. They’re amazing. Shooting 150 gr Magnus stingers. I was skeptical to go smaller than 4” feathers until I tried them.

I have some 2" Gateway Rayzrs laying around. Got them a while ago but never got around to flecthing them. I figured they'll have less drag than the 5" and I'd get a little more speed for long range shooting. Maybe I'll fletch some 700's up and see how they fly out to 40 yards.

Ok I'll bite. What is a Razor?
