Are the hoods hard plastic or thier typical rubber softcoat like on thier black and brown quivers?

From: soldier

How much do they cost ?

From: woodsman

I picked mine up at Denton hill. The show special was $99. I heard but can't verify they were going to be sold for $110 or $120. Maybe someone else can confirm. At any rate the hoods are plastic and the inside is styrafoam like the other selway quivers. They told me they had a special insert for the hood that hadn't arrived yet so took my name and will mail it to me when they come in. These have been in the making for a long time but it took awhile to iron out the details with Bear.

They are selling them for $115.00

That pricing is ludicrous! I only paid 45.00 for the original rawhide hood version! You can take the plastic hood off of any of those crappy compound quivers they made, and easily swap it for the hood on a softkote model.....though I can't imagine what the point would be?

For what it is, it is overpriced. I bought a really well made Big Jim quiver for 60 at cloverdale this year. Nice leather hood, nice stitching. I made one myself for about 18 dollars. Kwikee Quiver some sandpaper and a decal.

I rec’d mine this afternoon and attached it to my 1967 Kodiak Hunter and loaded it with some Easton XX75 2214’s. Tight fitting and good looking too boot! Lance
