So when I first started fletching my arrows and all that I was 11-13, only archer in my family, no idea what I was doing besides mimicking what I’d seen and failing a lot. Now here we are 12-14 years later and having spent half my life(neat to say) learning more each day about crafting archery stuff I’ve decided I need to get more people hooked. Rookie numbers compared to some but I prefer quality to quantity haha.
So to buy my first fletching jig I threw hay for a neighbor during the summer. Made sometimes $10 sometimes they gave me lunch instead of pay. Eventually I had enough and I gave my cash to my mom and she called cabelas and ordered my fletching jig. Now I’m gonna offer one of my fletching jigs up for free as well as a starting package for you!
The kit will include- 6 Doug fir shafts, I’ll hand make them to your requested weight, which I can help you figure out, if I don’t have them on hand. 6 points, think I’ve got 125/145/160 Feathers Nocks And a fletching jig with a LW clamp
Now I guess we should do this in a put your name in and I’ll randomly draw from the hat fashion so a simple “I wanna try” works or a good write up of what you envision for your first arrows.
Now the catch! As with all my give aways on any of the sites I’m on, you have to post pictures of your work once it’s done! No exceptions. Bonus points for showing how well they fly! Let’s say August 2nd we’ll draw?
