The wife and I moved from Virginia to Utah. I was an active bow hunter in Northern VA but now out here in Utah I'm back to square one. With Archery season fast approaching, I would like to get out and elk hunt. I just picked up my multi season any bull elk tag (OTC). Is anyone on the board a solo hunter looking for a partner that would also serve as a extra hand to help cut up and carry an elk out of the mountains?
On a sad note, the wife and I will be missing ETAR this year :(.

Cool, there are lots of elk and mule deer just above your house. Welcome to Utah, its a great place to bow hunt.

What would be your recommendation on either keeping the tag I have for any bull elk or changing it for a spike elk allowing me access behind the house? This is all new to me. Where will you be hunting?

It's not too late to swap it out. I think you have a much better chance at shooting an elk closer to home, give me a call or shoot me a PM or phone call and we can talk about elk. Season starts on August 17th, so it's right around the corner.
