Found some dark green 2117E arrows , guy didn’t know anything about them and I can fin anything on line.
He said they was supposedly for the 70’s and was not gamegetters, I was under the impression they was the cheaper arrows but really don’t know.
Can anyone confirm the production years and quality of these?

They were cheaper arrows, not tempered as hard. I think the E was for Eagle, a softer version of the XX75 shaft.

If you can get them pretty cheap they make a great hunting arrow, since most shots are one and done anyway. Save the better ones for practice/3D.

Not a bad price if you can use them. I would make them up into hunting and roving arrows.

Easton eagles, will bend if you look at them funny. Great arrow for a smoker round, or a 3D course that's particularly trecherous (e.g. use when there is a high probability of arrow loss or breakage). I have a few 2219 left, I'd never buy them again at any price. You'll get some great practice straightening aluminum, that's for sure.

Boker, if you want some good 2117’s, I have a bunch, some uncut, some cut and not fletched, some cut and fletched....they are too stiff for the weights that I’m shooting nowadays. I’ll send you a pm

If you want to talk about arrows that bend easily, the old Easton Swift would accommodate you on that aspect. I bent one many moons ago just shooting it into an excelsior bale. I used them one year for hunting though and they worked fine for that. Yes, they need to be cheap as they are not so durable.

Yeah George, I bought some of those fall stalker 1916’s that were bending when they hit our new 3D targets, lesson learned there. But those regular xx75, 2117’s are really tough, bounced them off of the concrete floor and into a 2x4, dig them out and they still spin straight.

Yessir, the T-9 material is pretty tough in XX75.

I would have to add that the 24SRTX was the softest arrow made. They bent just looking at them.lol
