I was able to order one of these books. Contacted the Museum in Denmark where they are available. The Museum of Southwest Jutland. It took them a few weeks to return my contact but that was ok with me. They emailed me an invoice. I was able to pay via paypal. Total cost was $50. 1/2 for the book 1/2 for shipping. Shipping a little high I think but it is what it is, likely the only way to get the book.

I'm about 70 pages into it now. Hardback good quality print, diagrams, photos, publishing.

If your into history, things Norse, archaeology, making bows, historical reenactment of Vikings, all in relation to archery and bows, then you just might like this book.

I wonder if it includes and of the later influences from North America (Canada) Atlantic Coast natives like the Mi'Kmaq. There is pretty solid evidence of a Norsk presence in that area and even over into the Great Lakes area.

If you Google ' L'anse aux Meadows ' You will find it is a Canadian historical site with a reconstructed Viking village It was settled by Leif Ericsson in the year one thousand. That is at the northernmost tip of the island province of Newfoundland where I am enjoying a pre supper scotch whiskey at the moment. Sandy

There is mention of the Vikings in Vineland (North America) but the bows talked about in the text are more focused on actual finds in Europe. At least that is how I have read and interpreted the reading so far.
