Got a new tab today and i am curious if you guys and gals have tried it and if so, what did you think about it? Seems just a touch short but nothing that would stop functionality. Hows the durability?

I have/had two. One was noticeably thicker than the other. I misplaced the one I preferred but know it's around here somewhere. The other has loosed many thousands of arrows and shows little wear.

You might lose it, but i doubt you'll ever wear it out. Great tabs. Mine looks like new after about 8 years of daily shooting.

I like their split finger version

the one with a hole for your finger - like the old neet tab last almost forever

That’s all that I use. I never wear them out, l just lose em.

I replace the elastic band with a piece of 1/4” wide nylon strap and super glued to size. I’ve been shooting my first one since about 2003-2004... I don’t think I’ll ever wear it out. I’ve got two spares, basically a lifetime supply.

Is everyone lining the string up against the thicker leather?

Or can you further out on your finger tips??

Thanks

CHRIS

I have both a split finger and a 3 under Batman tabs. They're pretty good but not spectacular. For a 3 under tab I prefer a Yost tab to the Bateman

They are fine fairly simple tabs made by a fine gentleman. He makes a variety of them. When you find one that suits you get another and you will have lifetime supply. Maybe get a third one to be sure; the elastic can wear out, but I can probably figure out a fix for that. - lbg

I bought my son a Bateman tab when he was 10 years old, he's 37 now and still using it. He's replaced the elastic a few times....amazing to me is that he hasn't lost it in all that time!

Damn, now thats a testimony

I've spoken with them several times on orders, great people. Cordovan leather varies in thickness naturally. When I got mine, if you have a favorite "thickness" and a set of cheapo digital (Harbor Freight) calipers. they'll build it to your specs. I'm assuming you know that tabs are sized by the width of the three fingers, not length of the face(whcih can be trimmed. I wear large gloves, but have skinny fingers and shoot a small tab.

I really great company and products.

Love these tabs. I replaced mine after almost 6 years of use. I could of kept using it had I wanted. But the palm pad was cracking and felt flimsy in hand. Only reason I bought a new tab.

I don't think it's possible to wear them out. They are fantastic tabs.

Love my Bateman tab very slick and broken in. It has already two years of steady use. Other than losing it what’s not to like?

Best tab I’ve used yet had mine for 2 years now and it’s still going strong

I LOVE the “Bateman Bubba” tab. Similar to the one pictured, but split finger with a spacer. The first thing I do is remove the elastic, and use paracord.

They are pretty comfortable and protect fingers very good. And bomb proof.

I'm trying to get ahold of my son so he can take a pic of that old tab and send it to me...I'm curious as to what it looks like after all these years. I want to add that I've made him some tabs for backups but he's never used them. He's never used anything but that Bateman!

I'm sure they will last a lifetime. I had a tab from the late 70's that lasted into the 90's but it went the way of sock drawer inhabitants. Never found it again. I have one now that was bought in the mid 90's, and my Rick Barbee tab that I consider the best of the best.

Im curious what it looks like too
