Among the many frustrations I've experienced with Leatherwall over the years, this latest one is among the most annoying. When I attempt to edit an ad I just listed, I get these error messages:

500 - Internal server error. There is a problem with the resource you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed.

The web site you are accessing has experienced an unexpected error. Please contact the website administrator.

Is it even feasible to add photos? Who do i contact for assistance? I have no idea from the available options I have explored here.

I've never been able to Edit. You just have to Delete and repost with the picture.

No editing, delete and start over.

I have a ton of stuff I would like to sell but I'm in the same boat. Can't place an ad. I get the same error message or that I have a current ad running. I also do not have the little edit/delete box on the right side. Also when you do a search of my handle, it pulls up lots of posts that are not mind. I put some things on the swap thread but that's all I can do. I still enjoy reading the posts however. This is a good site with a lot of good information on here

I must be the only one who has never had problems with the classified ads here. But then I never changed handles or emails in all this time.

Too large of pictures may be part of your problem.

Photo Size.. Photos can not exceed 500 pixels in width

Photo File Size..Photos can not exceed 50k (50,000 bytes) in file size

If you took the pictures with a cell phone, they take humongous size pictures and need resized down.

When you get error messages placing an ad it's likely either you're trying to put decimals in the price (whole numbers only), your photo is too large or you have an existing ad.

I have an existing ad. It has just one picture (so far) that was included successfully. There are no decimals in the price. The ad editor refers explicitly to the possibility of including “photos.”

Thanks for the tip on file size; I’ll try that ...

If you have windows mspaint app in your PC, it's very easy to resize the picture down to 500 pixels wide, then save it.

No problems like George.
